„The ocean that connects two very different, but in the end not so different worlds. On one hand, Yugoslavia where my family is from, on the other hand, Spain is where I chose to move when I grow up. Both lands are strongly influenced by Gypsy ethnicity so I wanted to bring up to life this nomadic spirit through their cultural heritage.“

Join Luxembourgish photographer Saskia Jovanovic and her family adventures with her first ever fashion editorial project titled Balkana. Along with Spanish fashion stylist Oriol Robert who helped to define these characters‘ wardrobe mixing different textures with romantic patterns.

This charming, mysterious and beautiful story recreates her cultural background mixing Slavic and Spanish traits that define her identity as a creative. Home has always been a feeling. Home doesn‘t always have to mean a building, a home can be something that is temporary.
