1. m. Action of escaping or getting away, especially from a dangerous situation.
Translating it to an abstract level, escape room is trying to escape from the inner world that encloses and
torments us and get closer to a less safe but more real outside world. We could understand it as an allegory
similar to Plato’s cave.
